Ivan Khong 1st Overall in Pro-grass.

Shah Alam 8th June – Grass Racing Autosports also known as GRA ran their second round of their autocross championships in Shah Alam. This year’s championship is sponsored by Red Line Synthetic Oils, Meguiar’s Detailing Products, Vanli Genuine Parts and Gophers Personal Navigation System, will be the long staying partners of GRA.  The GRA Autocross races are supported and sanctioned by MAM, the local governing body for motorsports in Malaysia . Ian Khong ambassador to GRA made the course very tricky this time, making it the hardest and most technical course for any autocross ever ran in Malaysia.

The day proved to be very challenging even for Ivan Khong in a Subaru who took 1st Overall in his class. Despite suffering a leaking turbo he still managed to keep ahead. Andy Kow in a similar Subaru was the fastest driver of the day however his combined times of his two runs, missed out on Ivan only  by less than a second. Surprise 3rd Overall winner was Jason Foo from Team Red Line piloting a Proton Satria Mivec. In fourth and fifth overall was Marcus Chye in a Lotus followed by Soo Seng Kuan respectively in a Honda Civic.
