My Waja Toy Story   October 03, 2007

Well, looking at them, first of all - I think they need a good scrub to make them look 'presentable'. Without further ado - I went into my store room, looked for my Meguiar's goodie bag I received during GRA's Pre-party.

And voila! I found a bottle of NXT Tech Wash , Quick Detailer and 2 packets of NXT Tech Wax. Real handy this goodie bag. Thanks to Meguairs!

Filled up the pail with water and with NXT Tech Wash. Gave the 3 cars a good scrub. Aaahhhh - the aroma of the shampoo smells so nice. For a moment I thought of taking a shower with it myself.

After a good scrub, it was rinsing time. Wow, u will be amazed just how effective this NXT Wash is! You have to try it to believe it.

After the rinsing process, we move on to surface preparation. ‘Oh shucks’ I thought to myself. I just remembered I ran out of claybars. Well, guess I have to make do with what I have in hand. Since I do not have a polish with me, I tried to use Quick Detailer. Tried to polish off some stains but was only 50% successful. Guess I really have to send the cars to a professional for a good job to be done.

I decided to take the red car out for a drive. But before that - I DIY-ed flushing my engine with pipe water and filled it up with Red Line's Watter Wetter. I must say this product is good - normally the needle of my temperature gauge hovers in the middle between the 70 and 90 Celcius mark....but after filling it up with Water Wetter - the need stayed just slightly above the 70 mark.

After my fun drive around town, I came back and started to work on my rims and tyres. Thanks to Meguairs, my job has been made simpler. Check out the shine on my rims and the gloss on my tyres.

Above is a pic of one of the Wajas  I drove in GRA.
